Better than most of those revered AAA titles. Solid shooting plus a tad generic "i need a robot to examine my humanity" story.

If you have a laptop with a NVIDIA Graphics-Card: the game is to dumb to detect the card and after a manual edit and following problems the Options-Tool is incapable of restoring the old configuration. As a result the game is unplayable for me.
Sorry for my bad English.

It's good, gameplay is enjoyable and the story is pretty well paced (although a few segments feel a bit dragged out). Only major issues i have with the game is that the keyboard and mouse controls feel a bit awkaward on the default settings and THE FINAL BOSS FIGHT IS WAY TOO HARD
In short, yes this game is good

Cool 3d person shooter. Great setting - high-tech future with drowned old cities and new cities built upon them.
9/10
I advice you to try it.

Good jokes (sometimes), good character and environment design.

Story keeps in suspense, the events follow each other very quickly - one more plus to this game. It reminds "I, robot" movie and announced but not yet released "Detroit" from Quantic Dream.
Also it reminds "MGS4", "Remember me" and "Deus Ex: Human Evolution". If you familiar with one of these games you should probably love this one.

Fighting against robots looks really nice - you can disassemble them in parts by shooting, all this accompanied by cool particles effects.

Great fights with bosses and their variety (One of them looks like decepticon from transformers). One of these fights in chapter 4 was annoying for me.

You can choose a partners to your team and give them standard commands during the battle (only if you have won their trust, otherwise they wouldn't listen! )
As someone wrote its really "One of the most underrated games of all time!".

Great game off and on but.. There are some horrible on rails moments that tip the scale for me. It is a victim of it's time. If this had come out 5 years earlier or later it could have been a classic.

I've just finished this game today, after being interested for years and having owned it for some time. Binary Domain is an excellent third-person shooter, with a thought provoking story and fun gameplay. In short, you should pick this up, especially if it is on sale. I actually got it for free during a give-away.

With that said, I finished the game on Normal in 7 hours, so it is a fairly short game. However, I would list that as a strength because the gameplay itself isn't anything special, and a longer campaign would have made the game less enjoyable, I think. Bossfights could be a pain, becuase most of them love spamming homing missles agaisnt you, but while this is annoying, it never made any of them impossible--at least on normal. I haven't played on higher difficulties, but I imagine that this mechanic will make higher difficulties very frustrating.

I really enjoyed the story. If you are a fan of Sci-Fi, you will find a lot to like here. The plot is basically all about whether or not synthetic life is actually life, which is nothing new, but it does introduce a unique, interesting, and unexpected plot twist towards the end. This twist makes the question even more interesting. However, this was also my main source of frustration. The game teases a choice to be made, but in reality, there isn't one. It's unfortunate, especially because I found myself disagreeing with the side our character seemed to take. The game also has alternate endings, but they are sadly just small variations of the same ending--and as you might expect, they ARE based on your squad trust levels.

It's a real shame that this game isn't getting a sequal, because honestly, Binary Domain is a great game overall, and Binary Domain 2 could have potentially been one of the best third-person shooters ever with the right improvements. Pick this game up if you can, and who knows, maybe Sega will change their minds...

This game feels like an unfinished Mass Effect. It has a great potential. To be honest, the best thing in Binary Domain is a story. The second thing that saves it is a humour. Gameplay feels ok, I hardly can find something to complain about. But controls are wierd.
Binary Domain became interesting for me after the first story video during the Chapter I. And while you can find a ton of strange things in events.. I can say that story is a strong part of this game. Also it has multiple endings and memorable characters.
Buy this game while it is on sale. As for a rating, I can give it a 7/10. Not a masterpiece, but a solid product.

The best terminator simulator of all time. The exact place you hit your enemies matter, unlike 100% of other action shooter games. It has more options than a VATS system

Hit legs -> enemies now crawl
Hit gun-> enemies unarmed
Hit hands-> enemies can now only kick
Hit head -> enemies join your team
Hit torso -> expose his bleeding mechanical heart

It's great

Good shooting with awesome destructible robots, great futuristic art, an intriguing story and the best robot companion in videogames since HK-47, highly recommended.

Ironically, for a game about the eradication of androids posing as humans, Binary Domain is itself a form of replicant. It convincingly apes the mechanics and behaviours of the best shooters on the market, but its augmentations feel noticeably forced and artificial. Having said that, shearing through robots in a Neo Tokyo setting makes for a nice change of pace within a genre typically populated by alien antagonists and Eastern European enemies, and in all but name this is essentially the best Terminator game ever made. The voice command and trust systems are interesting experiments that yield slightly underdeveloped results, but ultimately Binary Domain doesn't hang its hat on them even without the gimmicks this is an enjoyable albeit derivative shooter that any self-respecting sci-fi fan should check out.

A Very Enjoyable 3rd person shooter. Must buy if on sale.

It could be a little longer though, and I wish there was a sequel....

Oh, and forget the voice commands.

This game is definietly one of the best games from SEGA, and it has got a great story too. The characters are well written, the plot, as I mentioned is great, the difficulty is balanced. The shooting in this game is feels good, especially when the robots are tearing into little pieces. I can totally recommend this game. (but before you start the game, deactivate your mic ingame)
