About the Game

Set in a mysterious and abstract sterile environment, Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) is a first-person puzzle game that challenges players to navigate each level by manipulating coloured cubes that surround them. There's little to go on as the game begins - the player is dropped into an all-white room with few instructions, and simply has to figure their way out. The tone of game changes as the player finds small and big alterations to their environment, supported by an original score, inviting each player to let their imagination take over as to where they might be. Through experimentation and discovery, players will progress through an ever-evolving series of cube puzzles that will challenge them with logic, physics, platforming.

I really like this game. It uses the familiar first person shooter engine but instead turns it into a puzzle that you must have to solve in order to escape for your freedom.

On an off topic manner- The was also a movie called the Cube and the Cube 2 - It was about people escaping from a labyrinth and they had to solve puzzles in the room in order to escape their freedom - If they set off a trap in the room - they got killed.

None of this action is present in this game but I see the similarities somewhat......

Works great with Logitech F310 Gamepad in X Input mode with no additional configuration neccesary , controls are fine the way they are.

It's a different kind of puzzle game that's for sure but don't let it's generic atmosphere decieve you - if you buy this game and play the game, and progress in it , you will see the true beauty of this game.

Very fun game to play if you feel like sitting back and playing something more casual. Puzzles are fun and challenging, and the graphics are nice, and similar to Portal. The farther you get, the more you have to use your head. Some puzzles can seem pretty impossible at a first glance, but it really makes you think. Definitely recommend if you like to play something casual, and completely puzzle based.

This game sucked me for hours and hours. You are someone who woke up, in some kind of sterile chamber and You have to get out of it. Chambers are built of blocks and designed like they were taken from hospital for insanes. This makes You feel more depressed and more motivated to get out of there. You can do that by solving puzzles, somone created for You. First they are easy but farer You go, finding solution is harder. You can move blocks, jump on them, move entire chamber sections, and much, much more...

Game is very similar to Portal but it has it's own athmosphere... There are blocks, silence, You... and only one way out.

Best freaking game i've ever played in my life

The only con is that there is a room with a progress board of 9 squares, once you beat a level one of the squares greys out so you know your progress. Strangely when you are on block 6 you think you have a lot more gameplay to go but the game ends on chapter 6.. Its just weird. I would have mentally prepared myself/appreciated the end better had i known i was in fact at the end. Just struck me as odd

But yeah i got this game for a dollar in a bundle of 6 games and it gave me one of the most immersive gameplay experiences in recent memory. I actually enjoyed it better than portal. Its extremely high quality.
