Pretty much an 'upgraded' Space Invaders but with extra mechanics to make it more interesting and fun. Can be quick to finish the game but overall it's great!

9/10

Titan Attacks is proof that certain games are timeless and endlessly influential. Titan Attacks is essentially Space Invaders by another name. You take control of a little green orbital defence vehicle and shoot the hell out of steadily descending alien invaders, while at the same time avoiding their bombs and lasers.Titan Attacks looks both retro and modern, with simple graphics befitting a game like this.Unlike Space Invaders, Titan Attacks isn't plodding and deliberate. It's fast-paced and souped-up. You'll see everything it has to offer in only a couple of hours of play, but that's because it moves at such a fast clip. It's a basic game in design and premise with just enough there to keep things interesting, and while it's not even remotely going out on a ledge with new design philosophies, beautiful graphics, or a lengthy campaign, its hook resides in its quaintness. It's unapologetically old-school.

Do you a favor: buy this game and educate yourself. You´ll become addicted by its simplicity and realize how lame game industry is nowadays, spending millions of dollars developing boring, repetitive and unnatractive games.

Another fantastic looking retro game from Puppygames! It is the 2014 version of the classic game, Space Invaders, where you are the last surviving tank commander defending Earth from alien invasion.

The idea is still same as in 1978. Alien forces slowly approach you, while you bring destruction with your tank and laugh at them. At the same time you collect points and upgrades, which you then use for tank upgrades between levels. Upgrades vary from shields to extra ammo and smart bombs etc. Nothing major or too complex though, just enough to give the old concept a refreshing twist.

It's a great and challenging mini game that pretty much anyone with two working hands and a set of brains can start playing immediately.

I'll start by saying this. "I didn't like space invaders". You can all call it what you will, but I thought it was fun for a quick bas, but nothing more than 30mins before the frustration sets in. Titan attacks is the re-imagined space invaders for the younger generation. After booting it up for the first time, the neon graphics took hold and determination set in to see just how much these developers wanted me to like there game. It has persistent upgrades to aim for, boss fights, different enemy types with differing attacks. It is essentially, it is still space invaders, just with a bit of makeup and sheeps fur. I have now played 10hrs and have fully enjoyed the experience. This coming from somebody who doesn't like space invaders! 8/10

This game is pretty much an unofficial remake of the old classic Space Invaders. It reminds me a lot of Pacman Championship Edition by taking an old game and injecting it with new life by adding modern features and much more color. In this case they added a cool upgrading system which is much more motivation to play well then simple high scores. They also speed up the game much more later on almost making it feel like a shump which is pretty enjoyable and again very similar to the new Pacman game in that the gameplay gets more frantic as time goes on.

The music is not bad but nothing you will remember outside of the game. The visuals are pretty nice though and I am glad they chose to display the game in a slim vertical fashion like the arcades of old while the rest of the screen is filler art. It has leader boards to compete with your friends and strangers if you are into highscores. The boss battles are there but are not really interesting to fight and you don't really get a heads up before hand to stock up on upgrades. On the other hand challenge rounds are rather fun and can really help you out with rewards if you are accurate enough to shoot down most of the UFOs. Overall I find it a very enjoyable game for fans of Space Invader and fans of great games alike.

Titan Attacks is a very fun and addictive game. It is almost like a modern take on Spack Invaders which works really well as they have added more to it which is implements in the game well.

+ Great ark work which fits in very well to the style of the game

+ Fun and addictive

+ There is alot of replay value such as leaderboards and achievements

+ Being able to upgrade your tank is a great feature which keeps you playing Titan Attacks

+ The music fits in very well and has a big variety of songs

+ The game is well worth the money and its easy to get a coupon so this game is well worth it

+ Controls are simple as they should be which makes it easy to play

- You will find the game to be a bit dull arfter ten hours on gametime

- There are only a few maps to play on and they are very similer from each other

- You fell as if they should of added more to the game at times

Overall I think that Titan Attacks is a great game to play and is well worth the money. I am give it a 7/10. Its very fun but sometimes you want more.

Titan Attacks is a seriously addictive spin on a classic video game formula that’ll keep you playing beyond your first run through its one hundred stages.
It's a basic game in design and premise with just enough there to keep things interesting, and while it's not even remotely going out on a ledge with new design philosophies, beautiful graphics, or a lengthy campaign, its hook resides in its quaintness. It's unapologetically old-school.

Beat in in little over an hour and managed to get all the upgrades, starts off a little slow and easy, but once you get through a few stages it becomes one of the most frantic and enjoyable experiences I've had in quite some time, trading cards also worth quite a lot as well, tonnes of fun!
