"Free to Play"...These words are well known by us gamers...
Those kind of games tend to ask more money than a full game to be fully unlocked, or even worst, they go WAY TO PIN... sorry *cough* i meant into the "pay to win".
So now when i see free to play i'm like ''meh'', i foresee the poor development and numerous money grab opportunities.
Don't misunderstand me, some F2P games deserves those dollars bills.
So where is Wizard wars in this?
Well... that's one of the most honest F2P game i ever saw in my life.... as in april 2015.
I mean... it's balanced... there is 0% pay to win... i can't believe it myself...
BLAH BLAH BLAH WHAT ABOUT GAMEPLAY?
Oh, well, you got eveything from magicka, but refined, so yea less spells, but more balanced and still fun.
SO I HERD U LIEK + and - ?
+Balanced, gear will give you equal bonus and penalty, avoiding any power creep, if you have a 10 fire damage bonus, you got a 10 death damage penalty
+BEST DUEL GAMEMODE EVER THANKS GOD I CAN AT LAST PLAY 1v1 NO MORE TOXIC LOL PLAYERS TO SCREW MY GAMES YES, YES ,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
*cough* *cough* pardon me
+Money will only get you....cosmetics? You can also have weapons with money, but as far as i saw... it's not a huge problem.
~ What is that? Well.... it's friendlyfire
Both a good and a bad thing, good and funny if you are with good players or friends...
Bad, if you got a troll in your team.
- The only downside for me... yes it's hard to believe, but there is a downside, but wait hear me out...
In the original Magicka, you could combine more than 3 elements, this allowed you to have more spells.... a ♥♥♥♥ ton of spells, i understand they reduced it to make the game easier and more easy to balance, but they also cut down the complexity of the fights, i would hope they go back to 4 elements, thus boosting the game to the level of the original.
But well... it's still good, i just miss some spells from the original... *cough* ice spikes...*cough*
Anyway here is my note: -10/-10 IGN
