Acerca deste jogo

What is now my favorite sonic game of all time and possibly my favorite game ever, sonic CD is the first two sonic games combined, with a large dosage of LSD and a kick ♥♥♥ soundtrack (I Love both JP and USA).
The game runs at a flawless 60FPS 1080P for me on my kinda-lower end laptop so optimization is perfect. That being an extremely rare thing to say for a sega title.
The game is a constant GOTTAGOFAST type deal were experienced players can rush through every stage with absolutely no break in the momentum (so unlike the first and 3rd games were enemies and the level design were made to stop you in your tracks/make you think about how you'll go about it) and rush to get the best possible speedrun time. It's also easy enough for inexperienced players to get into and eventually "git gud"
This is my first time actually writing a legitimate review, and hopefully wont be my last because this game is an extremely special case. If you are even so much as slightly considering buying this game, GO FOR IT. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.
10/10 Just enough water - IGN.
*Side notes
-Yes i'm aware i have a measly 5 hours clocked in on steam, but multiply that by 100 in terms of the sonic gems collection port. Thats were i first played it.

first of all : i would like to thank a special someone for getting me the game and letting me write this review!

you may see the title having the word "sonic" and think : "yeah its like every sonic game".
NO! , because this is a different sonic game , hmm i'd say it has only a gameplay difference . every player who experiences the sonic games would say that the goal is to beat the stage ,yeah but sonic cd added an extra feature which changed the goal to : save the "future" of the planet , by driving between the past , the present and the future...

it has a leaderboard system , extras , time attack ..and more

its really worth playing , it comes with both the US soundtrack and the JP soundtrack , both are nice and they suit the stages

10/10 , its a different sonic game

EARLY IMPRESSIONS

This game should be relabeled Sonic CD Remastered because it's been completely overhauled & runs at high resolutions @ a very solid 60fps. Even the old FMV sequences are in HD & look a ton better. This is probably the best version of Sonic CD you can get & even surpasses the original in every single way.

It's still kind of confusing when compared to other 2D Sonic games. The goal isn't to reach the end as fast as possible. You have to find some wierd projection machines & destroy them & then do something... I dunno, really.

All in all, it's still a great game & worth your time if you're a Sonic fan or just interested in a retro platform game.
