IT HAS BROKEN ACHIEVEMENTS!
So if you're planning to 100% complete this game, you can give up now and just enjoy the game.
A top-down ARPG that works very similarly to Diablo 2.
There are 4 classes to choose from, each with their own unique skill trees. You can have 2 players playing the same class but invested in totally different skill tree hence different playstyle. However, there are only a few optimal builds for end-game.
The story/plot could be more interesting if it isn't presented by walls and walls of texts. I have beaten several playthroughs but all the time I just skip past all the dialogues and texts. They bores me.
The graphics are quite cartoonish and colorful, gives some relaxing feel while playing this game. The audios blends in with the game perfectly.
After you have beaten the game, you can always try new game+ with harder mobs, or replay the dungeons (mapworks) over and over again for harder mobs and better loot. There is not much stuff to do after you beat the game except farming for gears, just like every other loot-based game.
One thing I find it unpleasant is that in higher levels, you cannot reset your skill points to try out other builds. So you will need to be very careful when assigning skill points in the earlier games. Although there is an unofficial workaround for it, I'd still hope that the devs will add in this kind of feature.
It has plenty of mods in the Steam workshop.
Multiplayer is player-hosted. Some of the loading screen will take a loooooong wait if any of the player is having bad network. This really annoy a lot of gamers and there is no fix for it. It really depends a lot on luck and careful terrain transition if you're playing with friends.
Overall, this is a good game, but the bugs and glitches made the experience less enjoyable. This however, is a cheaper alternative for Diablo 3.
My score: 7/10
