decent game game, Gameplay is really fun. Fighting scenes were really cool. I have to say the ending was terrinble in my opinion! really disapointed with the ending, It felt like joker was batman's lover.... game was fairly easy too. way too easy. I bought it for 5$. Was the game worth those five dollars, I would say yes it was. Would I pay 20 dollars for this game? hell no.

Such a great game, if you love Batman then this is a must buy. My only problem is that the main story is a bit short but other than that this is a masterpiece, 10/10.

Batman Arkham City is the second game in RockSteady's Arkham Trilogy.

Pros :
-Has aged really well and still looks amazing now.
-Arkham City is a great place to explore.
-Awesome Side Missions
-Mark Hamill as the Joker.
-PC Port is great

Cons:
-None really

I played Arkham City when it came out originally on the PS3, having now played the PC version I can say it is superior in everyway. It also seems to be prettier then the upcoming remasters on PS4 and Xbone.

Arkham City is still an amazing game and is on sale fairly frequently making it well worth a purchase.

Highly recommended.

This is great game you should buy it.
Pros:

-Gameplay is great and fun it only has 2 button combat but it is challenging and i prefer to play the new game + because it gets rid of the icons about enemy actions so you need to keep eye on all the enemies yourself.

-Great voice acting
-Characters are well done
-Good graphics/ art style they still hold up very well even in 2016

-playing as Catwoman is fun, it brings fresh variety to game so you can switch character if it gets boring (you can play as both after beating the story)

Cons:
-Obvious remnant from the console port/ lack of effort for the pc version are the low resolution blurry pre-rendered cutscenes that shouldn't be in a pc game. This also makes the optional Batman skins mostly useless since the cutscenes just show the original outfit because they aren't realtime cutscenes like they should be.

-Catwoman's missions should have been longer (They were the most fun missions in the game, at least for me)

-No missions replay option. You could replay Catwoman missions in console version but they decided to remove that from the pc version for some strange reason. There is a way to replay missions on pc version but you have to manually make a backup of the savegame file before each mission you wish to replay and then overwrite the nomal save file with the backup file when you wish to replay (Steam save cloud must be disabled)

-The DX11 mode is badly optimized and has bad fps drops and stuttering, using DX9 mode works alright.
Overall great game, my complaints are very small compared to how much fun the game is.

Batman Arkhan City GOTY

Even tough this is not my favorite game style, it is remarkably one of the best designed games ever. In other words, I surely give a score of 10 out 10 for every development cathegory as follows:

MOVEMENT MECHANICS / CONTROLS: solid and easy to control

GAMEPLAY MECHANICS: combat, camera position, skills, flight controls, gadgets, everything works well.

LEVEL DESIGN: PERFECT AND AWESOME.

SOUND AND VISUAL EFFECTS

CHARACTHERS DEVELOPMENT

DARK ATHMOSPHERE

LEVELLING UP / UPGRADES

STORYLINE / STORY DEVELOPMENT PACE / THRILLER

CRIME INVESTIGATION

CHALLENGES

The only negative part of the game is the amount of Ridle's thropies that is a way too many. I had enough trying to get as many as could get. Of course, it is not mandatory and do not affect overall storyline progress.

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

If you enjoyed Arkham Asylum you would enjoy this game. There seems to be more content in Arkham City over Asylum. The environment and mood had a slightly scarier feel to it in Asylum, but in Arkham City the open world seems bigger and there are more things to do such as sidequests, more challenge maps etc. I felt this game went overboard with all the riddles, which actually took quite some time for me, but I would definitely recommend this game.

So, Arkham City. I've been playing this on a Macbook Pro, without a mouse, so it's been fun to say the least. Very compelling story, excellent challenge maps when it comes to the Riddlers Revenge section. Harleys' Revenge and the Catwoman sections are additional content, and they are well worth playing. Worth noting, one of my favourite challenge maps is the Penguins' Endurance Round, closely followed by Jokers' timed bout. Lots of fun, tests your skill a lot.

Basically a great game, great gameplay, brilliant for long-standing fans and newcomers alike. Will keep you entertained for yonks, and I never get tired of Batman flipping through the air to smash a thugs' face in. 10/10

For those wondering whether or not there is a problem getting this before or just without Arkham Asylum, whilst there is a link in the story, you can get full enjoyment out of just this game.

Gameplay: Brilliant stealth, brilliant combat, and the getting around in the open world is really fun
Graphics: Lovely graphics, I really like the style, and you can probably tell if you will like it from the screenshots
Controls: Once you understand them, combat is really fluid, and getting Batman to do what you want is easy
Collectibles: Oh my god. The collectibles are amazing. Anyone who has played Arkham Asylum will know about the riddler trophies and secrets. In this game they really ramped them up, and I love it. I am ashamed to say I did google some things, but that was more a lack of understanding of how it worked. I finished the story after 14 hours, and had 32 when I finished getting collectibles.

Overall: The only thing stopping me from giving it 100% is the lack of replayability. If it is on sale, definitely worth it.

Do you like superheroes? Buy this game.
Do you like Batman in particular? Buy this game even more.
Do you have no interest in both Batman and/or superheroes? Buy it on sale.

Pros:
- Some of the best voice acting I've ever heard in a videogame (almost the complete voice cast from the animated series)
- Intriguing story with a truly epic final act
- Interesting and believable characters
- Top of the notch gameplay
- Immensely detailed and immersive world and level design (the 'Wonder City' part!)
- Lots of extra modes and side missions to do after you beat the main story
- Some of the best boss fights you've ever played
- Fun enough for multiple playthroughs
- Cameos and references from all over the DC universe

Cons:
- Can sometimes be confusing for people who are not already familiar with the Batman lore
- Some characters don't get enough screen time or feel left out

9/10 Still the best superhero game out there

I didn't enjoy Arkham City as much as Arkham Asylum, but it's still a great game and good continuation of the story. Everything else feels pretty much the same, which is a good thing... plus some new gadgets.

What Arkham Asylum did better: the whole reality breaking psychological tricks were much better in Arkham Asylum

What Arkham City did better: gave the opportunity to perch high and look down on the city, also gave additional playable characters that fit into the story with different gameplay styles

Scarecrow (who didn't make a return in Arkham City) is one of my favourite villains, and I love the reality breaking stuff so it stands to reason that I'd like the first game better, however both games absolutely deliver on what their titles promise: Batman in an asylum and Batman in a city.

Bigger and better than its wonderful predecessor. The new gadgets and the way that they can be used in battles give a lot of variety, making it a bore returning to Asylum. It's a blast to move through the open world _ it feels more like Spider-Man than Batman, but that's not bad. Riddler's trophies are not just hidden, you have to solve puzzles to get them (I didn't manage to get them all, like I did in Asylum, but there's no achievement for it, so I gave up after getting more than 90%). And, although they're way more limited than Batman, it was great to play as Robin, Nightwing and, specially, as Catwoman (she's sexy as hell!). This is a must play!

This title deserves to be the game of the year. Even if you hate Batman, you will like this game. No bugs (Okay, some ragdolls are glitchy sometimes but that's ok), great gameplay, many collectibles, great story and good graphics. You can't do wrong if you buy this game!

So this is my second Arkham Game. I played Arkham Knight on PS4 and I absolutely loved. Then I bought this on PC and dayum that 60 fps :O. Anyways, the story is amazing. One of my top 10 games. Loved the combat, and gameplay. Graphics are amazing for a little old game. Finished the main story-line in 10 Hours so I got my money's worth. I picked this up on sale for 5 dollars for an amazing game. Wouldve payed full price for this. Only thing I didn't like that much was Penguin's involvement in the story. I wanted more joker, as Mark Hamill did a fantastic job. I know Im a little late for this game, but if you havent already, you should definetly pick this game up! I would rate this game a solid 9.8/10

You get to be Batman and Kick@$$!!! This Game runs super smooth on my old PC rig I made back in 2013 A.D. with maxmium settings turned on. I haven't finished it yet but the storyline is really impressive. Feels in sysnc with the comics and the old animated series. Some tricky side quests here and there but nothing a guide or two online won't help you solve. This Game of the Year Edition reallys smooths all out any rough edges it might have had in the past. Never have any glitches or memory save problems. A truly bad@$$ PC port from console all considering. You too should become one with the Night!

Batman Arkham City was one of my personal favourite games. This game used to be one of the best games a few years back .If you play this game before Arkham orgins you will find that a lot of things are much better mainly the story and the ending.*SPOILER ALERT* I know it sucks that joker had to die at the end but that doent affect the calibre of the game. You can play as catwoman and play her missions . Guys i think shes much hotter than the catwoman in arkham knight. She is sexy as ♥♥♥♥ (she even kisses her enemies while fighting). The story is without doubt better than arkham origins althoug it doesnt have better detective mode and the batplane. I think that the game is worth buying at a sale or you can always download it from torrent since this game doesnt have much multiplayer content.
