After a string of rehashes, Team17 has done a fantastic job updating the series while keeping the core gameplay the same. With a polished presentation, attractive visuals and improved level design, we finally have a Worms game that doesn't feel like it emerged from a '90s time-capsule. The series remains as polarizing as ever, but those who enjoy the zany antics of the series will dig Worms Revolution. There's no revolution in this new installment of Team 17's beloved franchise, but tons of fun and crazy gadgets. New features need a good improvement if they are meant to stick around, but single and multiplayer contents will make fans happy for a bit.Worms Revolution is as good as the franchise has ever been.

I have spent about 200 hours, give or take, playing this game.
An Oldschool, classic and a favorite for many people.
It brings back alot of nostalgia for someone who spent many hours playing the oldschool worms on PS1.
With weapons like the classic bassoka, grenade and shotgun, to Concrete Donkeys, that destroys all in its way, To the DLC exclusive Buffalo, wich will either turn into your favour or be devastating for the one with a lack of skill.
It also brings back the lovely Ninja rope, and a gamemode all about it! The Shopper Gamemode, mostly about grabbing coin crates with the utility of the ninja rope, but also planning your move to oblitirate the enemy worms.

The only con i have to point out is the bugs with the multiplayer Online Performance.
Three vital points are the following:

* If you have bad connection to the host there can be massive waiting times between turns wich in it turn can be time wasting and ruin the flow of the game

* Enemy moves can be delayed or just not show up at all, for example let's say someone is about to swing over a gap, for you it shows that he falls down in the water and the beloved loading mark shows up in the screen. This may cause incovinience and you can wonder where the f♥ck the bloody worm vanished!

* And lastly, for someone that plays Shopper alot this is a very important bug to fix!
When you pull out the parachute while falling from, for example a fail jump, may crash the game lobby and you will be returned to the main menu. This works in ranked games too and can cause incovienience and also ruin the fun.

Why i really prefer this instead of the new one "Clan Wars" Is the Maps are smaller, and it makes it more fluent with the ropes and the art of bouncing is easier.

This is all for me, thanks for reading and consider buying this game. c:

Worms Revolution is one of the best games I have ever played.

If your new to the series, which is actually quite uncommon these days, your basically controlling a team of 1-8 worms (depending on game settings) in a battle to the death with some of the craziest weapons ever.
Weapons with names such as the Old lady, Holy Hand Grenade, Super Sheep, Concrete Donkey, etc will be used as you fight in a turn-based battle with a time limit per turn and round.

I have been playing the Worms Series since 1996, starting with Worms 1 so I am no stranger to this series.
Some new features for this version from previous include dynamic water, new interactive physics objects, and new weapons and utilities. Yes, the rope behaves differently, (think bungee cord) but once you get used to this change you will not want to go back to the stiff rope of past worms.

Now let's talk performance. Worms Revolution as you may of noticed, wants at least a DUAL CORE processor and a good video card. I DO NOT have a Dual Core processor (Pentium 4)but the game still runs well.
However, the addition of dynamic water seems to be the big issue here. Lots of water on screen can cause slowdown for lower end computers like mine, but nothing too annoying.
Yes, there are bugs in this game and annoying aspects relating to controls, but they are mostly minor.

If you like the Worms series, or if this style of gameplay sounds even slightly interesting, I highly recommend you buy this. There is an active community online, and adding friends who play the game to your friends list can ensure full 4 player games often. Don't buy this for single player though. It's not very fun.
