It's quite unique and that makes this game worth of playing. It is for all those who love shooting, speed and destruction. And I mean it.
Ok,it is quite old but:
-The idea is great
-You get lots of action
-Graphic is ok
-Sound is good
-You get lots of different weapons
-Explosions
-Map objectives
-It's not that easy

The only down side
-The game needs more servers and players.

Nobody plays this game anymore. This game is great for if you have friends who play it, but if you're trying to play publicaly, you're out of luck. There are almost no servers up for this game anymore. The game has potential, just nobody plays it.

Never played this game but steam say that I actually did so instead of judging the game here's a cool way to make skinny guacamoles with homemade baked tortilla chips :

Skinny Guacamole:

2 medium green sweet peppers
2 medium fresh poblano chile peppers
1 bulb garlic
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
2 roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 serrano pepper, minced
2 medium ripe avocados, halved, seeded, peeled, and diced
1 teaspoon lime zest
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Baked Tortilla Chips:

Corn tortillas
Olive oil spray
Salt

For the guacamole:

Preheat oven to 425° F. Line a 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan with foil; set aside. Quarter, stem, and seed the peppers. Place pepper quarters, cut sides down, in the prepared pan. Cut off the top half inch of the garlic bulb to expose ends of individual cloves. Leaving garlic bulb whole, remove any loose, papery outer layers. Place bulb, cut end up, on a double thickness of foil. Drizzle with the oil. Bring foil up around bulb and fold edges together to loosely enclose. Place foil packet on the pan with the peppers.
Roast peppers and garlic for 20 to 30 minutes or until pepper skins are charred and garlic cloves feel soft. Allow to cool about 15 minutes. When garlic head is cool enough to handle, squeeze garlic paste out of the individual cloves.
In a food processor combine roasted pepper quarters and the garlic paste. Cover and pulse until combined, but still slightly chunky.
In a large bowl, combine tomatoes and serrano pepper. Add roasted pepper and garlic combination and stir to combine. Add diced avocado, lime zest, lime juice, and salt. Gently toss to combine.
Serve immediately or cover the surface with plastic wrap and chill for up to 1 hour.
For the chips:

Cut corn tortillas into wedges and place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spray lightly with olive oil spray and season with salt, to taste.
Bake in a 350° F oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.

It's a dead game. You'll be lucky to find any games. I really liked the game at first because it's a good action car game. But it boils all down to finding a game with people on it. But if you do you can get at least a couple of hours on it.

One of the most awesome games I've played that runs on the source engine. It takes car games to a whole new level. Do not be discouraged by people saying that nobody plays it and online games are hard to come by. This may be true, but if you do find one (which I was able to do numerously) then you will have a LOT of fun.

I like D.I.P.R.I.P. alot, it reminds me of the old twisted metal games I used to play. It is a shame that no one really plays anymore. The game is worth playing if your a fan of demo-durby type games just be sure that you have friends who will play if you download it though because like I said earlier, there's just no one playing.

It's an amazing game, but very few people play it. Sorta "Mad Max Simulater 2033". If anyone wants to play, I make a server (or join an existing one) from 7:00am-8:00am pacific time.

"Die In Pain Rest In Peace" is a multiplayer mod where you are driving advanced cars in a post-apocalyptic world. The gameplay is based on vehicle combat in various post-war environments. You can shoot your opponents with four different weapons.
D.I.P.R.I.P. Warm Up includes traditional Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag.
This mod brings a few hours of fun, if you play with friends but soon it becomes boring especially because there are no public servers anymore.

Sounds 6/10
Graphics 6/10
Gameplay 5/10
Atmosphere 5/10

Recommended if you love Player vs. Player Deathmatch and steal the item type games (ie Team Fortress2). If you own Half Life 2, get this mod game and play it. This game has 2 Factions with Car avatars, and each competing to win the round. There are NO Bots on servers. Has destroyable objects. This game has steam acheivements.

Loaded this game on 4 sept 2014, worked fine, found a server and some people showed up to play some. Good looking maps and Car avatars with ranged weapons.. Need some tutorials built in but just messing about, i figured out how to play. Was rather fun and exciting. Loaded the server on my other gaming computer and tried playing by myself all the maps on the server.

Needs more people to play. Need More dedicated internet servers to host and admin this game. Great to host on your own LAN party server.
