About This Game

The desperate leadership of a doomed Soviet Union travels back in time to change history and restore the glory of Mother Russia. The time travel mission goes awry, creating an alternate timeline where technology has followed an entirely different evolution, a new superpower has been thrust on to the world stage, and World War III is raging. The Empire of the Rising Sun has risen in the East, making World War III a three-way struggle between the Soviets, the Allies, and the Empire with armies fielding wacky and wonderful weapons and technologies like Tesla coils, heavily armed War Blimps, teleportation, armored bears, intelligent dolphins, floating island fortresses, and transforming tanks.

  • It's Always Better With Someone Else — Fight your way through three campaigns solo, or join forces with your friends or one of nine, in-game commanders, each with unique personalities and play styles, in missions designed from the ground for co-op play.
  • Star-Studded Storytelling — Command & Conquer's trademark live-action videos return in HD, with over 60 minutes of footage featuring the largest cast in the history of the Command & Conquer franchise.
  • Command the Seas, Conquer the World — Experience Gameplay as for the first time in the series, waging war on the water will be every bit as important as dominating by land and air. Gain strategic advantages by controlling resources in the seas and mounting three-pronged attacks from all directions.
  • Ready your Man Cannons! — Armored War Bears, and Anime-inspired psychic school girls join your favorite Red Alert units like Sonic Dolphins, Tesla Troopers, Attack Dogs, and the ever popular Tanya.
  • A New Threat From the East — The deadly Empire of the Rising Sun is a technological terror, with designs influenced by a mixture of anime, science-fiction, martial arts and robot culture. The Empire's futuristic units can transform into alternate forms, and they specialize in naval warfare.

Once, in a match, I saw this Allied Rocket Trooper, stuck under the water, but still being able to fire rockets.
I had around 6 Shogun Battleships blow him to wonderland. Unfortunately, the water shielded him from the explosive barrages. Then a soldier gunned him down.
I am questioning the Shogun Battleship's firepower...

But on the bright side, I had an Attack Dog that took hardly any damage from running past 3 Armageddon Tanks who were firing at him. Who let the dogs out?

Canines are invulnerable! (Then they get one-shot by infantry units)

8.5/10 Dogs & Bears with Anti-Tank fur coats, and troops turning into Mermaids to avoid artillery barrages --- what more could you want?

Probably one of the greatest RTS of all time, very undeservingly placed in the shadows of the more famous StarCraft series, this series pack so much more humor, fun and loonyness!

The game is pretty good but the three empires arent really close to being balanced imo. The main reason being the different way in which each one builds, which makes the japanese really annoying if you dont like double building every building you create.

If you get on the japanese force while its building its over, 100% of the time because everything they build rolls out as a little easily destroyable unit that you are supposed to then direct where to go and finish building.

The main drawback to this game for me though is the superweapons. So super that all you really need is to build them first and you win. Dont need to uncover the fog of war even, can just nuke the enemy every game 10min into it and then roll in with a handful of choppers or tanks to mop up. If not for the superweapons i probably would have kept playing the game with a buddy and would be giving this a recommend.

I just cant bring myself to recommend a game with such an overpowered mechanic, though i did like many of the C&C games in the past, this one felt like they just skipped the balancing phase all together.

It is worth a crack for a couple of hours, but it just gets too boring and the modding community is lacking in expansion, I hope Generals 2 is of any worth.

I wish I could get my money back. This feels like a joke game. I should have researched it more. I can't stand how gimmicky it all feels.

So before you continue, I should let you know I have a bit bias towords this game... This was my first RTS and brought me into the RTS world. The cutscenes are funny, and the characters are well written. The campaign is good. The multiplayer was fun, but I always had fun messing with the AI. 10/10

I had on windows 8 the problem to change my resolution. everytime if I tried it the game crashed. But you can change the resolution still. U don't need to run the game for this way.

Enter the folder "roaming"

You will find it when you open your pc (C;ProgramFiles(x86)/users/yourusername/roaming

there you will find the red alert 3 folder if you enter it you see the folder profiles. there you can enter and change the resolution from 800x600 to whatever you want without tipe in any other stuff.

the easier way to find this folder is to press windows key and r key on the same time, then tpe in the opened field just "roaming" and you will enter this folder. Hope this will help some peoples which use like me windows 8.
