So... Need for Speed:Undercover, I'm impressed. Although that might just be my fanboyism for the series.
Anyways, Here is my review.
Pfft... What story? You're an undercover cop and you are trying to stop bad people from doing bad things.
In all honesty I couldn't follow the story because half the time I just wanted to skip the stupid cutscenes to get back to the action.
Need for Speed Undercover is arcade styled racing game, now that's not really THAT bad since I had no problems with it...later into the game. The truth is in the beginning your car WILL crash into a lot of walls, traffic and cops and it's weird because it never felt as infuriating when I played with a Bugatti because the thing accelerates like a beast. Basically this is what car you should buy for every tier so you don't throw your computer out the window
Lotus Elise - Impossible handling; you'll hardly ever use the handbrake with this car. It also has a decent acceleration. Certainly the top of its tier.
Ford Cosworth - Top speed is one of the best out of all tier 4 cars, but handling is poor. Use this if your driving style includes lots of drifting and power sliding (it's actually quite satisfying to slide around corners instead of turning)
Seriously, just stick with the Elise all the way till you unlock the tier 2 car shop. It's unbelievable handling will allow you to dominate most of the events along the way.
Nissan GT-R R34 - Probably the only car that is decent in all 3 stats. Still clocked a slower timing than the Elise, be it with street or race parts.
Nissan 370Z - It's wierd that the bars show the top speed of the 370Z is less than the R34. The 370Z is actually faster, but the handling is terrible. I say again. Terrible. Not as bad as the Mustang GT or Camaro Concept though.
Dodge Viper SRT10 - Great acceleration and top speed, and surprisingly agile considering most of the other American muscle cars can't turn for nuts. Probably the best of the lot. Only this car enabled me to dominate the master events at levels 9-12.
Porsche GT3 RS - Smoother handling than the Viper, but just a lil bit slower acceleration.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 - Loses out in top speed and acceleration, but seriously, its handling is second only to the Elise.
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - God knows why they gave this car the highest top speed (and it pwns the others by quite a bit too), and god knows why how this car can turn like that at 200mph, and god knows why it's only $200,000 in-game. Don't think. Just take this car.
If you really want another car, go for the Zonda or McLaren - they've got quite decent acceleration and handling. I've completed the game with the Veyron, but can't say Im pleased with it considering I blasted $375,000 plus parts to get it going.
Again, No replayability. Unless you want to play the same race over and over again to buy every car you aren't going to be playing this after you finish the game.
I would say it's good but I can't. There are no people in Online but the Cops and Robbers minigame sounds fun, If you got friends who brought this game then try it out!
I never had high expectations for this game but it suprised me. The game feels smooth going at a constant 60 fps,the gameplay can feel slippery but mostly stays solid and you have some(emphasis on some) good music for you to bop your head to while racing.
I give this game a 6.5/10
PS HOW IN THE HELL CAN AN SUV KEEP YOU WITH A VEYRON?!
