Great game but hard to control on the PC without a controller. Newer, better versions available but you cant beat a classic.

For a $2.49 purchase price it wasn't too bad. After clearing the stages I didn't have any desire to go back and replay, perhaps if I had the option of running vs AI bikes or online people at the same time (onscreen) it'd have been a different scenario but as it stands, it was a purchase I could have gone without.

The gameplay is tight but there are moments of "UGH I WILL DESTROY YOU." There are some physics exaggeration but that is to be expected for a title like this to work and be successful. While they are exaggerated they do make sense. The audio is quite repetitive and the music, oh the music... I'd have preferred being able to load my own music instead of listening to the garbage. I turned it off.

In the end I can't recommend this game because there are newer editions out that *should* feature the onscreen multiplayer I mentioned.

The classic that blew the doors open. If you like any of the newer Trials games, check this one out to see how everyone got hooked. This one might still be my favorite - it's less about which bike you use (there's only one) and more about raw focus and skill. Soooo addictive. Awesome game.

I love trials games, and Trials 2: Second Edition was where it all started for me. I played this game for hours at a time, on a daily basis, for months. Endless, minimalistic fun, with plenty of achievements and leaderboards to compete for/with. If you're just getting started with Trials games, this is the perfect game for you.

Crap controller support, crap sound, crap sense of speed.
Expected anything like the old games or trials HD, got nothing.

Trials is a great game which requires you to balance your dirtbike rider across challenging obstacles and reach the finish line. The game itself is uses 3D models, but the camera and your movement is locked into a 2D perspective. And the controls are really easy since all you can do is accelerate, brake/reverse, lean forward, and lean backward. You have to combine these at the perfect time and learn how to jump across gaps, hop up to ledges, and avoid all kinds of hazards. The controls for this specific version are extremely precise and you'll even be fine playing on a keyboard. Some of the advanced techniques will take time to learn, but once you get the hang of it then it becomes extremely compelling. And though the game can be brutally hard, it does have checkpoints so that if you crash you can immediately respawn at the last checkpoint. Once you've become better then you can attempt to complete levels without crashing and in the fastest time. And you will get better the more time you spend in it. I would definitely recommend this game for people who enjoy challenging games that are simple to learn but hard to master.

Insane FUN right here. The oldest of the series and it's DAMN FUN. I'm getting ready to purchase the newer ones because it's quite addictive. Play with keyboard or controller. Hang on and fly high!

Easy 2 thumbs up.

Challenging. That's the word you want to read and remember. You drive a motorcycle and you have to do stunts to get to the finish line. The graphics are great, the sounds as well, and the puzzles are, well... remember that word I told you to at the beginning of this mini review ? Yes ? Great ! My job is done.

Excellent game though ! Great to play for a few minutes or a few hours.

Awesome physics, but the difficulty is high. I see players on YouTube running through the tracks full speed, but I have trouble even finishing. Still fun to play.

If you are a glutton for punishment or a perfectionist any Trails game is great for you. Brutal difficulty, beautiful graphics and simple but deep controls combine to make a great game that will make you grind your teeth in pleasure.

Do you hate yourself?
Do you love being frustrated?
Does the desire to break your screen and keyboard bring a smile to your face?
Then Trials 2 is made for you.
That may not sound like a ringing endorsement, but some people like these kinds of games....you know who you are.
