Sam Fisher: Bad news.
Guard: I knew there were ninjas around here!
Sam Fisher: What?
Guard: Yeah, you've gotta be a ninja. How else could you sneak up and grab me like that?
Sam Fisher: Listen, I don't know what...
Guard: Wow! A real, live, ninja! I can't believe it!
Sam Fisher: Listen, I'm going to kill you if...
Guard: Wow Killed by a ninja... cool!

LOVE THIS GAME, old times.

Anna Grimsdottir: Before you can tap into the BIOS you'll need to open the casing.

Sam Fisher: I didn't bring my crowbar.

Anna Grimsdottir: Whatever. Crowbars are for geeky video game characters.

Tom Calancy is probably spinning in his grave as he watches Ubisoft furiously ram their #girlwood down his vidya legacy's throat. This was arguably the last good Splinter Cell game depending on how you feel about Double Agent and one of the last passable games with Tom Clancy's name plastered on it for licensing shekels.

Still holds up despite being over ten years old, the KB/M controls work fine but you should probably invest in a controller for this one because using the scroll wheel to control your walking speed is like letting a mouse trap clamp down on your nipples in sub-zero temperatures. Multiplayer still works natively on PC as far as I know and it beats Konami's Pachinko Gear Cashcow: Online any day. Co-Op campaign is great and had an interesting mechanic if you're using a microphone to distract guards, unfortunately unless you're still using Windows XP in-game voice chat doesn't work so you'll probably never use it.

Overall its still one of the best stealth games out there. Support team banter thats self-aware and doesn't take itself too seriously despite the shlocky 'political intrigue' storyline thats in every TC game, great missions with multiple approaches, fantastic competitive multiplayer and co-operative campaign. If only Ubisoft still gave a damn about the quality of their products.
