It has an oldschool feel and some unique features. One thing I like is how you drag and drop equipment onto your character in order to equip them. Another feature with that is everything you wear such as amulets, rings, etc. show with how they look in your inventory on your charcter. The quests are a bit bland, but I'm enjoying the combat. The combat does change depending on the enemy you are facing. For instance if you are facing goblins (with a melee character) you will do some side steps while attacking. For larger enemies such as a minotaur you will leap and slam your weapon at the enemy. If you do a critical on the final blow you will do some pretty neat 3-4 combo move and the enemy will fall. One last thing that makes this game different from the rest is the 2 skill trees that you can level up at the same time, which do not share talent points! Yes, you can level up equally in each skill when you level up. Overall it's the person playing that makes the decision if they like it or not. I'm glad I gave this a chance after watching gameplay and reading reviews on how bad it was. One man's junk is another man's gold. This one sure surprised me.
