I used to like this game, I really did.
Untill I dug deeper into it.
The restricted slow paced gameplay along with the bad port isn't very fun.
The glitchy npcs, maps, textures, and mission mechanics are awful to deal with.
I constantly get seen by enemies behind solid walls and objects during stealth missions (that aren't optional and I must complete in order to advance the game's story. That's fun.), which makes me lose and have to restart all of it again by going ALL the way to the farside of the map, watch bad voiceactors and bad animations in a cutscene, go ALL the way back, rince and repeat.
I used to love this game, but it doesn't seem to age well.
I still think it's a classic, of course, I don't HATE the game.
The music is amazing and soundtrack is all too memorable.
But the gameplay just isn't as polished and wellmade as I remembered it.
I still love the game in many ways, but hate it in many ways, too.
The game is very unforgiving especially with missions.
For example, you slip up once on a mission and you have to backtrack where the mission is, watch a cutscene and do it all again.
It's not fun.
I still think it's an overall good game, I just wouldn't reccomend it to people who dislike extreme backtracking and perfect expectations on missions. It has many redeeming qualities as well, so I'm sure there are people willing to wade through the cons for the pros of the game.
