Honestly, every F2P MMO is gonna take investment, but this game is very leanient on its leveling. You accept a buncha quests and get rewarded heftily. Its great with friends, easy to get into, a great action combat system, and just an ♥♥♥ ton of fun.

Dragon nest? Woah! I used to play that game so much! What fun! What excellent gameplay and atmosphere, it's the only anime-styled game that has graphics that don't make me nauseous! I even had a max level character! Let's go try it again and see how it's changed!

I love this game its very well balanced and the servers dont seem to have huge loads which is great for a no lag experience. Also I started during an event so that is just an added bonus so start now!!! My only issue with this game is that when you need to exit a dungeon you take a screen cap, but thats easily over lookable

Dragon Nest's combat system made me realize that i probably could never play another MMO that didnt have a similiar feel to it. You dont see a move go right through a monster or player and see a -MISS- icon. The only way to miss is to have bad aim.

Be prepared to devote your life to this game, and be willing to give up your soul.

I'm going to say it right now: this game is VERY "grindy." If you plan on getting the decent gear or that top pvp ladder spot you better be ready to grind those dungeons till your eyes bleed. It is very much a grind-to-win game. And is the very standard "Collect X amounts of stuff" MMO crap that we have come to enjoy (sarcasm). The story is mediocre at best. Customer support is quite possible one of the worst, as the publisher is Nexon.

That being said though, it still has it's great moments. If you just sit back and ignore all of those fancy collectables and pvp lags, you will realize that it can be enjoyable. The skills and classes are very diverse and offer a lot of interesting combos and techniques to play around with in both pvp and pve. The community (for the most part) is friendly and willing to help you if need be. And the variety of enemies the game throws at you keeps pve challenging and engaging.

5.5/10 This game barely edges out on my scale. Do not play this game unless you like running the same dungeon repeatedly because you will not like it. However, if you are truly just in it for the experience and not the competitiveness, it can still be an entertaining game.

Overall it's a nice little action RPG reminds me a lot of Phantasy Star Online (DN is waaay heavier on the action though), but with a midevil twist to it, simple and fun you complex all at the same time, with tons of missions to do and tons of people to meet. It's been out for a few years but if you get into a nice guild the fun can really start, especially once you start forming friendships. Only other action RPG i like better than this one is Blade and Soul and I WISH that would be a steam game if NCSOFT didn't create it. But i HIGHLY recommend Dragon Nest.

Cute and fun game, updates have kept the game feeling fresh outside of its dated graphics. My biggest complaint against this game would have to be how blurry things look if you look to close at them, though I suppose this could be considered a feature if you would like to play a far-sighted vision simulator.

This game while not being the greatest is quite fun and the dungeons can offer some real challenge. The game is best played with friends so you can go dungeon diving together. It truly is a diamond in the rough and can be quite good fun if you just give it a chance it starts off pretty slow but ramps up fairly quickly. I highly recommend Dragon Nest to anyone looking for some good fun.

Dragon Nest

Immediately the art style drew me to this game, so I tried it out. Dragon Nest has a wide variety of classes, each with stats that resemble that class which makes realistic gameplay. It also has a great levelling system, quest system, inventory and arena systems, alongside guilds, as well as parties with fair loot drops for its members. The varied weapons, gear and other items always gives you incentive to keep playing. With its fast action 3rd person gameplay, I would recommend this game to anyone who likes fast paced MMORPG's. This game breaks away from the top down MMO’s and does it well. Overall an amazing game for the solo player or the team player.
