About This Game

Penguins Arena is a thrilling and innovative First Penguin Shooter with quick, hectic rounds and where the magic of reincarnation, combined with the supernatural ability to return to the game as a ghost, ensures that your character has every chance to change your tribe's fate, even in the afterlife.

It all begins when a penguin legend comes to life in the form of Sedna, the ancient Penguin Goddess. Global warming, melting ice caps, pollution... penguin tribes are endangered. Sedna tells them that there is room for but one tribe. And so the purging begins.
Now it's your turn to join the snowball battle and drive the other tribes into the sea.

My sister saw me playing this and asked me if I was playing (in her words) "a terrorist version of Club Penguin."

If that is not an apt description of this game, I don't know what is.

Pros:

- achievements (moderately easy to 100% this game)

- trading cards

- fun gameplay

- fun, upbeat soundtrack

- you can customize your penguin

Cons:

- I really can't think of any, other than the fact that you can't change your tribe's color (it's always blue).

Essentially Tribes mixed with Super Smash Brothers and penguins; Club Penguin's got nothing on this!

The movement system feels similar to Tribes, the snow is slippery to the point where you can really build up speed by sliding down hills and ramping off of other hills. The goal in the end is to knock other penguins into the water (like SSB), to be eaten by what appears to be a killer whale. With weapon pickups a-la any other arena shooter, and a basic customization system.

The soundtrack is happy, poppy, and clean-guitar-filled loveliness, and is easily one of my favorite parts of this game.

I can see it getting old if you aren't the biggest shooter fan, but I'd say it's perfectly worth it. I'd especially recommend it for LAN parties.

I love this game. I live streamed this on twitch and got a few more people to buy it! very good since it was made in 2008.
Keep up the good work!
