The only thing fun about this game is the combat. Nothing else. The lore and quests are dull, there are spammers -EVERYWHERE- that even spam you in whisper, and it is DEFINITELY NOT roleplayer friendly, despite having a "character biography" feature. Heck, it doesn't even have a keybinding option for walking, which you have to manually do yourself (./bind insertanykeyhere ++walk). And apparently, the ONLY place to RP, is a freaking tavern. That has got to be the saddest thing ever.

I don't recommend this game if you're going to play it for the story / RP, because all it's good for is the combat. It had potential, but... no.

Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter is based on the AD&D 4.0 Core Ruleset, and I think that it's done rather well. The graphics, sounds, music, and locations are well developed & quite immersive too. Cryptic Studios made an amazing free-to-play (F2P) game, and you don't have to spend any real world money to level from 1-60; The game is not restrictive in anyway whatsoever.

The character models are well detailed, and the combat movement are very engaging - albeit they could be more fluid. Combat itself is great to play, and I love that there are no auto-attack moves/spells; Everything must be done by the player in real time. In this case with regards to combat and action, you [the player] stay involved, focused, and must be have situational awareness -- something that I like very much.

To me the only downsides to this game are the ridiculously over-priced items in the Zen Market, and the difficulty in acquiring Astral Diamonds. For the latter it may not be a problem for the very active player, but casual players are at a disadvantage IMO. I also personally feel that many of the zones are very linear, and closed-in - leaving no open world exploring in what I'd like in an MMORPG.

Overall the game is a must-have to play for those that enjoy Fantasy RPG's. There's very little to be disappointed with here. I highly recommend this game, especially if you're looking for something F2P.

first of all this is based in dungeons and dragons but it lacks depth. Besides that it is a decent mmo that has good graphics and ok physics it has enough to keep you busy.

Neverwinter is an amazing MMORPG. I have
played this game for a long time now and
loved every min of it. Don't judge the
game because other people take the
easy option and simply buy everything
with there real life money! The game can
be fun and exciting if you allow it to be.

Absolutely amazing, especially for a FREE game! Neverwinter is incredibly fun to play with friends as you can battle on PvP or do quests together in a party. Heck, Neverwinter is brilliant to play on your own, too! The storylines make you feel as if you were really there in Neverwinter. Highly recommend to play. You will definitely not regret it!

Neverwinter is a fun game, regardless of the class you choose to play. Starting out, being a free player you get 2 char slots. Could you want more? Sure. Playing alone isn's so bad. I've yet to find a content aside from raid dungeons that you can't do alone. The bits that DO require a group aren't hard to come by at all. PUGs generally tend to be active and easy/quick to get into. The classes as I said, are very fun and the combat keeps you active and moving and there is no tab-targeting mechanic here, it's all more or less a "crosshair". But again, being it doesn't do tab-targeting, it'll keep you moving instead of tabbbing to target, then rolling your head on the keyboard. The race selection isn't bad either although no matter what race you choose you're all still once side/faction. Some people like cross faction pvp, which is great, but it's not that kind of Party here in Neverwinter. There IS pvp though, arenas and such. Some people might try to call this a P2Win system, which I just don't find it as such. Sure there IS a cash shop and things you can buy that'll boost you and perhaps take the edge off of leveling, changing your look, crafting, mount/companino look (yes, there are companions..I has a doggie..You can choose who/what you get).

Overall I think it's a pretty alright game for a Free to play. The way I see it, dont' knock it til you've tried it. At least give it a go. If you don't like it fine, it's not for you. Dosent meake it a "bad" game.

This game is really fun, people say its a pay to win, but you dont really win the game, its a MMO that never ends, after you hit the max level (60) you continue with Dailies which you get Currency called Astral Diamonds and you can get the perfect armor and weapons. The "Pay To Win" thing is a ton of B.S because everything you buy you can get in game, just buying it is faster. To buy real life money stuff you need Zen, to get zen its real money or get a lot of astral diamonds, and you can get astral diamonds for free any time.

Its a dungeon and dragons rule 4 based game, and there are some rule 5 stuff in there but no really in classes more of in story.

You're a person that got attacked by a giant dragon like monster called a Dracolich which knocked you off your ship killing everyone that was on it, besides you. You end up going off and fighting off a group called the Kgnashers, which after you defeat them you learn there is more trouble, as you go off facing many dificult and many non-dificult quests, either alone or wih friends.

I'd rate this game a 9/10 because some of the dungeons look the same, but thats a minor detail, the reason I up this game is because LOTS of story, sidequests, customization, and many more things. You can play through the game alone, to with 1-4 other friends, with 5 people (including you) you can make a guild, which you can have as many people as you want in the guild.

Yes and no. In my experience feels like a water down version of guild wars 2 both in graphics and system. Not to mention the rediculous 190€ Hero of the North dlc. Who the f*ck do you think I going to buy that ♥♥♥♥?

Like so many other good franchises the producers take advantage of the name and the succes of previous versions. This, nothing butr a commercial piece of crap. D&D rules whatever, the commerce bit is too much.

There are some bad points that have really made the game stink, one the ability to kick someone after the completion of a dungen and you get NO reward for your efforts, this is no doubt a really poor quality player doing this but it is ultimately a problem in the game design as well. I should NEVER have been designed where things like this can happen as a result this alone causes me to give a very low opinion of the game if not for this and very poor information in game I would have a pretty high opinion.

Love this game far too much for my own good. Never get sick of it, and I've been playing it for over a year. Questline is a bit dull, but once level 60 comes around and epic dungeons arrive, things start getting intense! Just the way I like it!
