About This Game

A secret battle has been waged unnoticed right in our own backyard.

Five prototype toy figures, carriers of the revolutionary Micro Battery, have special instructions from their maker to activate others of their kind. But with limited battery resources, they are forced to fight each other for power. Meanwhile, mechanical tracker monsters pose an even greater threat to a Micro World full of broken toys looking for a second chance. The toys are small, but their war is big.

Key Features:

  • Engage in toy-sized battles spanning over 20 unique locations in the Micro World.
  • Choose from 5 prototype figures and customize them to suit your game and style.
  • Quick swap between 7 different weapon types on the fly for any situation.
  • Includes 10 multiplayer PvP modes, co-op PvE mode, and single player mode.
  • Collect batteries during matches to upgrade and enhance your arsenal.
  • Create and manage your own clan for competitive matches.
  • NEW! Party system lets players fight alongside friends.
  • NEW! Matchmaking ensures that players battle enemies of equal caliber.
  • NEW! The Plaza is a community hub where players can socialize and make allies.
  • NEW! Daily Missions provide dedicated players with new challenges every day.

The game is riddled with hackers, servers are bad and I frequently am put in "Lag Limbo".
Its P2W and skill based but where Skill came overcome P2W,but P2W still prevails. I try to enjoy the game as much as possible for it's skill, but with server problems, hackers and "Lag Limbo", it just makes me hate the game more and more.
The P2W is simply "Gamble for something bad with a chance your money will end giving you something you want."
pretty much I hate with a gulity pleasure and even though its weeabo shooter sim, it can be fun once Rock Hippo fixes its servers, balances weapons, and finds a better anti-cheat system (X-TRAP RLY M8)

MicroVolts Surge WAS a fun online arena shooter, however playing matches has become extremely oversaturated with people purchasing so much Pay to Win Crap that all the fun is pretty much gone. Most of the time if you want something cool like a weapon, you're gonna have to pay for it in some way, and hell if you want to buy it with the in-game system of currency then you're out of luck because a lot of it's temporary. Much of the neat anime-inspired style and map design doesn't help the fact that this game heavily relies on purchasing items to gain the advantage.

I really loved this game, and it's fun to go back to and play a little bit but honestly there are much better shooters out there which provide much more fun. Want my reccomendation? Go play/buy the game Minimum

This game is terrible. Can't join a lobby or even adjust a setting before the game freezes. Can't join any lobby and there is only 1 to choose from anyway. The game freezes and kicks me out. Don't download this game.

Simply a pay to win, cartoony-styled, shoot 'em up game. You pick from several different weapons while ingame. It's fast-paced and somewhat fun to play. There are many gamemodes that are very different from eachother. Customization is limited if you do not want to waste hours getting the necessary amount of money.

Pay to win/pay to rent in every single game mode other than the *one* PvE co-op mode, that nobody seems to play. Only chance you have in PvP is to toss at the least $20+ at this game in premium currency, or get an aimbot and have no fear of VaC ban, because apparently nobody cares about this game except the half rate third party security system they force you to download as well; which hasn't caught anything in the time I have played. I'm going to try and remove this game from my library, put it in a box, nail said box shut, wrap it in duct-tape, put a 3 meter thick layer of concrete around it, and then drop it into the middle of the Bermuda Triangle in hopes I never see it again.

*Edit*: It has a cool concept, but damn either make some Free to Play only servers or make the 'I bought my skills' gap a little less over powered.

I played this way back when it released and Steam keeps recommend me this game...

I really wouldn't recommend this game at ALL...it's the dirty filth of the games which are P2W also known as pay to win which is just a scam IMO.

There are many better shooters out there that aren't pay to win.

Really fun game back in 2012 used to play privates with my friends like hide and seek and some sniper matches, dont know what has changed but ofcourse in this generation of gaming P2Win seems to be the big thing for most greedy companies trying to sponge more money from f2p games. 2012 would have rated this 9/10 but sadly it has dropped to about a 5

A game that was great in the past is no longer good anymore.

Every 10 seconds, the screen freezes up, and then you get a message saying this: "Connection failed. Please try again." (or whatever it is) My connection is fine the way it is.

However, I had no problems uninstalling the game.

i cant give this game a positive feedback due to the fact that i couldnt even play it. Because: the game wanted me to creat a Hippo account. Hippo has 5 letters. 2 p. 5-2 = 3, the shape of a triangle has 3 edges. The illuminati is a triangle. MicroVolts Surge is Illuminati confirmed.

Unfortunately cannot recommend for AUSTRALIAN players due to 300 ping restrictions. You are at an extreme disadvantage at all times. I'm used to play with lag and winning, it's not a problem. Unfortunately it is a problem here, though. Mixed with the fact that players with higher level items than you can clear the floor, it's hard to justify playing when you can play something that supports our country.
