This is my favorite soundtrack ever. All the tracks are beautiful, especially “Setting Sail, Coming Home (End Theme)”. Highly recommended, it’s worth every cent. This game came out a while ago, and I still listen to this OST.

If you're like me and you appreciate good music, then this DLC is directed towards you. Because no* game has a soundtrack quite like Bastion.

*Excluding Shadow of the Colossus, but to be fair: Nothing can compete with that.

Bastion: Original Soundtrack is, obviously enough, the soundtrack to Bastion. Ownership of the game is necessary to purchase the soundtrack, and quite frankly, this is one of the soundtracks worth doing so. Bastion's soundtrack is composed of a sort of electronic-acoustic-western, completely unlike anything else I've ever heard. The music is great in-game and stands out on its own, as well.

The soundtrack can be sampled on Supergiant's Bandcamp page here: http://supergiantgames.bandcamp.com/album/bastion-original-soundtrack

I cannot recommend this soundtrack highly enough.

Shut up and take my money!

Awesome soundtrack, it makes so much pleasure to listen. If you love Bastion, it's "Must Have". If it's on the sale, it's definitely worth buying.

I used to sleep listening to Transistor OST. Now I sleep listening to Bastion OST.
I listen to Darren Korb from an old gramophone, in a dream full of fine people.

One of the best Soundtracks of all time. It's the only soundtrack Iv'e spent money on and instead got from Youtube.

To put it in short, this game has not only one of the best soundtrack's I ever heard, but also one of the most heartwarming and compeling stories. This game is reletivley short if you just focus on the main story (about 5-6 hours) but is still worth the pricepoint. It's like a heavily interactive movie since the narrator says different things depending on what you do. If you die, the narrator says "what was I talking about again?" making it not only interative, but even more charming than it already is. Also, may I add, the narrator's voice is actually really soothing to hear. Something about it just relaxes your muscles. EIther way, if you like shorter games that have a heavier story to them, and/or if you like completing games, this is the game for you. I didn't want it in the first place since I heard it was so short so I bought it during a sale along with their other game, transistor, for $9 and .80 or so cents in a bundel also with sound tracks, and after playing it I would've gotten when it wasn't on sale if it had come out and I heard nothing of it besides me just knowing it was going to be a great game. To recap, yes it is short, but those hours of pure attencion to detail you play make the game all the more worth buying.

"installed" can I find it? Nope, it is not located in my "Music".
I shouldn't have to go on a hunt after I purchase & install the soundtrack.

Let me update this review since people are not finding this helpful.

Just an FYI. Maybe I should have been more specific.
After downloading this it didn't go to my Library for my music. Actually some one had to post a tutorial for me to locate it in one of my folders.

Additionally I am not alone on this issue. On the dicussion boards you can see many posts describing the same issue.
Additionally after I played the sound track (which is only located on my computer, in a file that I have to hunt for) the game gave me an ERROR not once but 3 different times.

I have not played the sound track since & have I gotten an ERROR? Not a single error.
