AVA is Coming Back to Steam!

AVA Players on Steam,

My name is Lawllipops, I'm the Senior Producer at En Masse Entertainment, the new publisher of Alliance of Valiants Arms (AVA).

I'm happy to report today that En Masse will be taking over AVA on Steam, in addition to distributing the game through its new official website at http://ava.enmasse.com.

You probably have a lot of questions about what this publisher change means for you, the player. We've tried our best to anticipate your questions and answer them in a handy FAQ. Most importantly though, rest assured that we will offer a way to transfer your current AVA progress to our service. The FAQ has more info on this. Check it out here.

The folks here at En Masse as well as the developers of AVA, Redduck, also have a lot of great stuff in store for the future of AVA and we're getting right to work delivering it to you.

Today we launched a closed beta of the game on our servers and using our technology. The beta is live only until Tuesday, August 23, and sign-ups are largely over but we're giving out some additional keys on our new Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as during livestreams on our Twitch channel, if you want to give it a shot. The beta features a bunch of fixes and improvements, as well as the return of hide-and-seek mode. For a full list of changes check out the patch notes here.

Briefly following the closed beta, we're planning a larger open beta that will be coupled with the release of some new content. It's during this open beta that we hope to make the game re-available on Steam and allow you to transfer your current character and progress to our servers. When we do, you can be sure we'll announce it here.

In the meantime, you can interact with the AVA community on the new community forums. We'll also be lurking around the Steam community hub answering any questions you might have.

The team here at En Masse is excited to usher in a new era for AVA. We look forward to getting to know the passionate AVA community and bringing you fun new ways to play.

See you in game!

About This Game

A.V.A. is a free-to-play, team-based, military shooter that plunges you into the middle of a world at war. Fight in brutal 5 vs 5 combat across dozens of maps wielding authentic military weapons. Side with the European Union (E.U.) or the Neo-Russian Federation (N.R.F.) to determine control of the battlefield. Test your skills against your friends and see if you have what it takes to come out on top!

Key features:

  • FREE Guns: Over 90 weapons purchasable with in-game currency. Now you can fight, not pay, for your license to kill.
  • Loads of Content: Over 90 maps and modes, over 300 weapons, and new content coming every month. Never run out of things to do, weapons to experiment with, or enemies to kill.
  • Killer Classes: Select from 3 distinct classes with their own talents and abilities. Get up close and personal with the SMG and shotgun wielding Pointman, lay down suppressing fire and deal lethal damage at mid-range with the Rifleman, or take the one-shot, one-kill path with the long-range, death-dealer, the Sniper.
  • Squad Commander: Take command of your team to unlock high tech binoculars. Scope out distant locations, mark enemy soldiers, and report back to your teammates before sending them in for the kill.
  • Weapon Customization: Turn deadly pieces of military hardware into epic killing machines. Add custom parts or modify your weapons to improve recoil, damage, accuracy, and more.
  • Unlocks, Medals, Badges and Achievements: Complete daily quests, accomplish rare feats of strength and skill, learn new and deadly skills, collect caches of weapons, armor and money, and much, much more!
  • PvE Scenario Mode: Team up with between 1-3 friends to take on the challenging Scenario mode. Discover the story hidden within A.V.A. via the contiguous Train and Over Rider modes. Unlock special weapons and abilities only available in these exciting modes.

Would I recommend this game? HELL YEAH!!

Was is good when IJJI had it? Yes.

Was there a lot of hackers when IJJI had it? Yeah.....

Was it good when Aeria has it? Yeah it was fine, didn't have much an issue, less players though...

Did the game have many hackers when Aeria first got it? Yeah it did.

Did Aeria get rid of the hackers completely? No, but they did get rid of a lot of them, when IJJI had it, I didn't play PvP at all, Aeria bought it, and I was in the top 100 players, and the top 50 snipers.

How did En Masse do so far? I don't know, I had it on Steam from when Aeria still owned it.. So I couldn't get in, now I'm redownloading it to see if it will work.

What did you enjoy most from the game? Mainly the Scenarios, though towards the end of the Aeria life cycle, there were little who played the Scenarios, and that's mostly where all the hackers that survived the BAN HAMMERS went, so it got boring, watching ♥♥♥♥♥♥ players just rack up kills for extended periods of time.

Do you think that will change with En Masse? I hope so, but seeing as how there are still going to be those people who just suck at the game so much, all they can do to get "good" is use cheats, such as aim-bots and god mode.

After all this being said, would you still recommend this game? Like I said HELL YES!!! I LOVE this game! Even with all the hackers, the game is still one of the best of its kind! CS:GO is huge and there are still a lot of hackers. I'm not really a fan of that, but I bought it, cause I love this type of game. basically a FPSMOBA, but this game has Scenarios too! Guns were decently priced when it was with IJJI, but the game was made P2W with the move to Aeria, where the In-game Currency cost for guns was skyrocketed just to make it so people would buy them with cash instead of grinding for them. I remember grinding for 6 hours straight to get the M249.. hopefully En Masse takes the shop back to when IJJI had it, or just makes it less P2W, making it so, instead of buying all the guns at ridiculous prices, you can choose to grind for about an hour or so to get a new gun, or you can buy boosters for credits and experience. But yeah, play the game.

The only thing that matters in this game, is the knife you get out of it for getting your first achievment.

I still can't get it since there are never enough people in one lobby.

This is also the best waiting simulator, because it never connects.

Basically guns are like buying hats in TF2 but these guns have duribility like it's minecraft or something. To top it off it sexualizes certain figures in attempt to coax you to play, or something...
I only got it to get the Black Rose, and tbh, it was ALMOST not worth a single round in this game. The server browser is very painful to use, and doesn't make much sense, not to mention it's all-around not fun due to the "One-shot sniper rifle" that seems to exist in all games attempting to be CS:GO. So, no, I don't recommend this.
