CameraBag 2.7 Released!

Nevercenter has released a big update to our award-winning desktop photo app CameraBag!

For this update we’ve streamlined the interface even more and added several new useful tools. Try the innovative Gamma Curve tool to precisely control brightness levels in a powerful new way. The new Filtered B+W tool lets you interactively dial in the perfect tone balance for your black and white photos.

We’ve also totally redesigned the default filters included with CameraBag, focusing on professional looks that will stand the test of time. User-created filters are now saved in their own section in the Presets tab, and power users can sort their filters into as many different folder groups as they like.

Of course we’ve also fixed several bugs here and there. Mac users will notice improved color profile handling and batch processing functionality.

What's New
  • Streamlined tabs and updated interface
  • Dozens of new, totally redesigned filters
  • Several new tools, including the Gamma Curve and Filtered B+W tools
  • User presets now saved to their own section in the Presets tab

  • Other performance improvements and bug fixes

Über diese Software

Welcome to CameraBag, a modern, award-winning photo app with a fresh approach to editing your pictures.

At the heart of CameraBag is our proprietary Analog Engine, which applies every adjustment you make using non-destructive 32-bits-per-component accuracy, all at blazing speeds. What that means for you is smoother tones and a more interactive workflow, no matter how many tweaks you make to your images (especially when working with RAW photos).

CameraBag’s innovative tile-based workflow lets you instantly see exactly what adjustments you’ve applied at any point, so you can easily tweak, re-order, layer, and nest them as needed. This workflow also lets you do things that are simply impossible in other photo editors, like layering multiple tone curves rather than trying to squeeze all levels adjustments into one complicated curve.

Start with CameraBag's large set of included filter presets, then go deeper by creating and sharing your own. You can even use any filter you make with CameraBag in our newest iPhone photo app, Fotograf.

Key Features

  • Large set of built-in high-quality adjustable filters
  • Full suite of photographic tools, including advanced curve editors
  • Build your own entirely new filters from scratch or from existing filters
  • Elegant, modern interface
  • Innovative tools not found anywhere else, such as CameraBag's curve-based color corrector
  • Fast image processing via the revolutionary Analog Engine
  • 32-bits-per-component color depth
  • Entirely non-destructive editing process
  • Easy layering of filters and adjustments
  • Quicklooks and previews for fast visual decision-making
  • Large, precise controls - works great on a laptop
  • Watermarking and custom image-based borders
  • Batch processing
  • RAW format support

Note: The Mac version of this software does not support Steam Cloud at this time.

A great software i recommend to anyone, it has interesting features, many pre-made effects which you can modify by your own taste. Of course, you are also able to create your own effects, personally, usually i am fine with most of the effects, the altering i am doing on them is just brightness/contrast mostly.
Is it worth the money? Hard to say... 12 euros for a photo editing software? Hell Yea!

Ease of use:
It's actually really damn easy to use it, every feature you might need you can find easily.
Even the newbiest user can play around with the advanced features.

At this chapter i give it 10/10.
Photoshop might have more options and might be advanced, but to be honest, it really isn't that big of a difference.
Camerabag has pretty much all the features you can think of, it's also cheap and works flawlessly.

I only had 1 or 2 crashes so far, don't know the exact reason, but i didn't lose anything important.

Bottom Line:
Get it! It's not expensive, and it offers many things for this amount of money, you won't be disappointed at all.

Quite a nice software to tinker around your photos and illustrations.
It's totally worth it in my opinion.

Of course for such a low price don't expect something to rival an Adobe software's complexity, but don't disregard it either it can achieve amazing results too.

Warum also "nicht empfohlen"?

If you liked using simple photo editors on smartphone, you will enjoy using CameraBag 2.
There's plenty of photo filters and tools to quickly turn your photos into masterpiece in seconds.

The cool features this software has, is that you can adjust how much the photo filter effect takes places in your photo. (eg. lightly or heavily) and the ability to add watermarks.
The Steam Community integration is huge bonus as it's allow you to post your stunning artwork on CameraBag's Steam Communty Hub.

Overall, If you looking for easy to use and simple photo editor that does the job, pickup this software now!
There's also 15 day trial on the developers website if you not sure if you should buy this program.

This is a brilliant little tool for editing photos. Its kind of like Instagram, but you have much more control over the filters and effects. There are some things that it cannot do or that it is still easier to do in photoshop, but Its simple, powerful and easy to use and, therefore, well worth the low price!

Would be great if the program even started... Every time I try to launch CameraBag 2 through Steam on my iMac OS X 10.9.1, I get this error message: "CameraBag 2 quit unexpectedly." Be warned, this issue seems to be happening to a lot of people. Steam should pay more attention to issues like this one and warn the users on the product page and at least give a refund to all the users that spent their hard earned money on a title that just wont work... or fix this issue ASAP!

Fun! I can see myself making some cashual prints out of a bunch of these. They turn out beautiful. Filters by year are my favorite.

While the editing tools are simple yet powerful, the software is incredibly prone to crashes. For the first week or so that I had CameraBag, it would crash either immediately after start-up or when attempting to load RAW/DNG files. Once that issue was resolved, it crashed whenever attempting to save an edited photo.

A wonderful little program that I have really enjoyed using. It can be used with other programs like Photoshop but it does a nice little job on its own. The user interface is really well done and makes it easy to navigate. I really like how it shows alot of photo's with the many effects it can do with the photo. You can add so many affects to one photo its nuts. It really puts a unique style into each photo that you edit. The downside to this program is that you can't do all the things you want to do with each photo but can do the simple things in each project. I wish there was more borders to play with, but the borders now are fun to have. There is alot you can do with this program but it does take some time to get used to it all. This is a great program and I am really enjoying it to its fullest. If you enjoy editing photos and want a simple to use program to do it in then get this fun photo editing program.

This software doesn't work at all. It keeps crashing when I load a picture. If not, I spend a good amount of time editing a picture and when I finish and save my work it crashes and the work is lost and you have to try again. After trying 32 times for just one picture I just gave up.
If you are the developper of this sorry excuse of a software I strongly suggest that you go back and learn how to make a working one. This software makes you and your team look like fools.

git gud

A friend recommended me this game to improve my creativity in shooting. Because I'm always in the mood for an experimental FPS I immediately bought it, install it and started it. Then, the game asked me to load a file, probably to use as a random seed to generate the levels. The created level sure was interesting, and reminded me a bit of CS.

The whole level was just the same pair of genitalia in all kind of artistic filters. The enemies were visualized as buttons, which you could shoot and circle strife. While shooting, the pictures changed in all kind of interesting ways, but they remained the same pair of genitalia.

The scoring however was quite dubious and I was unable to finish the levels. I checked a few more levels, all genitalia btw, but could not finish any of them as well. I checked gamefaqs but I could not find a walk-through.

I'm unsure if the inability to finish levels is a statement on the continuation of life or a bug. I'll investigate further.

In summary, this is an original FPS, but maybe it is a bit too sexy for some people.
