USER LICENSE
Version 1.2 for Steam (October, 19th, 2016)
DEFINITIONS:
1. The game “The Herbalist” (hereinafter “the Game”) shall mean a composite audio-visual software for personal computers and mobile platforms.
2. The studio (entity) “Moonworks” (hereinafter “the Studio”) shall mean a creative association of authors of copyright content, which shall include all parts of the game (source code, text, graphics, music files and phonograms).
3. “The User” shall be a person, who doesn’t belong to the studio and who is not an author of any part of the Game.
4. This License is valid for the duration of the copyright.
CONDITIONS:
1. The owner of the exclusive, non-exclusive and related rights in the Game and its contents is the Studio, including its members, who are authors of the Game.
2. The Game is distributed via Steam (owned by Valve Corporation) as commercial proprietary software.
3. This License is not subject to change or withdrawal by third parties.
RIGHTS:
1. The User has the right to install and play the Game on any number of devices without violating other provisions of this License.
2. The User has the right to modify the Game and derivative works of it without the written permission of the Studio.
3. The User has the right to accept donations for modificating the Game (or other works based on the Game) or as a gratitude for the works created.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. The User has NO right to make profits on the Game or its parts (source code, text, graphics, music files and phonograms) or User-created Game modifications and derivative works unless the User has a permission from the Studio (the copyright owner).
2. The User has NO right to delete or modify the License, under the terms of which the Game is distributed.
3. The User has NO right to modify the Game and Studio logos without a permission from the Studio and relevant author (pr@moonworks.ru).
4. When any modifications of the Game or its derivative works are created, the User agrees to refer to the Studio and give their contact details.
5. When a modification of the Game or its derivative works is created, the User agrees to use the License.
The Studio gives NO warranties that the Game will work properly. In no event shall the copyright owner be liable for any data corruption or data alternation, caused by using the Game. By using the Game the User assumes FULL responsibility for the consequences.
